On the Prairie.

I’m so glad to have this painting finished. I decided to make a last minute decision on changing the front cowboy’s face, it now portrays the expression of looking across the land, and it really tied the whole piece together I think.
My inspiration for this piece is from my time traveling across the vast expansive landscape of the North Texan Prairie. It seems sometimes like the horizon, to disappear blurring the distinction between the land and sky.
